Meet 'Captain' Tobias Weller, the inspirational, tough as boots 11 year old who is the
youngest person ever to receive the British Empire Medal, which makes him the
youngest person ever to be included on the honours list.
Tobias, who has cerebral palsy and autism, was awarded the BEM after he raised more
than £157,000 for Paces School, where he is a student, and The Children's Hospital
Charity in his home town of Sheffield. He did it by completing a series of physical
challenges after being inspired by the late Sir Tom Moore. This included the
completion of two marathons and an Ironman.
Goes to prove that in this instance a true hero is called Toby, not Tony.
